Installing a ceiling light

  • Please consult your electrician for hanging fixture and wiring.

  • Turn off power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box before starting installation.

  • Locate all hardware and components before discarding packaging.

  • Your light may vary.

1. Remove mounting bracket from fixture & install to electrical box. Then wire fixture to wires in outlet box. Copper or green wire is for ground. Red or black wire is the live wire, white is neutral. Black(positive) wire connects to the red wire if applicable.
If your fixture uses lamp-style cord instead of white & black wires, identify the neutral wire by looking for silver conductors, writing, squared corners, or ribs/indentations on the insulation.

2. Attach back plate(A) to ceiling and tighten ball nuts(B) so fixture meets ceiling. If installing an outdoor-rated light outdoors, caulk the fixture with silicone sealant.

3. Install lamp body(D) to back plate using two screws(C) on sides.

4. Install light bulb(E) into socket. Bulb in picture is a G9 bulb, yours may vary.

5. Install face(F) to wall sconce using two screws(C) at sides of fixture.

Cleaning & Care:
Clean with soft cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaner.
